What the extension stores

To keep behaving the same after a reload, the extension saves the following with chrome.storage.local, on your device only:

• The widgets you picked — the list of widget titles you ticked in the settings popup.
• Where each bubble sits — position and size per widget, plus the default width and height, and the on/off switch.
• The widget list found in your Crisp tab — the titles and icon URLs read from the sidebar the last time the page was scanned, so that the settings popup can show you a list to tick. The popup cannot read the page directly, which is why this is stored.

What the extension does not do

• It does not read, store or transmit the content of your conversations, customer data, contacts, or anything else inside Crisp.
• It does not send anything to the developer or to any third party — it makes no network requests at all.
• It does not use analytics, telemetry, tracking, cookies or advertising.
• It does not run on any website other than app.crisp.chat.
• It does not execute remotely hosted code. All code ships inside the extension package.

Permissions

• storage — to save the settings listed above. Nothing else is written and nothing is ever read back out of the browser.
• Host access to https://app.crisp.chat/* — the content script needs to run on the page whose sidebar widgets it re-lays-out. This is the only site the extension is allowed on.

Removing your data

Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it stored. You can also clear the saved positions at any time with the Forget positions button in the settings popup, or untick all widgets to put them back into the sidebar.
